Pokémon Gen 9 Announced That Scarlet and Violet Release This Year

Pokémon Scarlet and Violet made an announcement for February that gave hints of the next Gen 9 region and gameplay.

Gen 9 has been officially announced with a new trailer revealing the upcoming Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games with a glimpse of the new region. The news is one of many announcements at the Pokémon Presents February livestream event, which confirms a new update for Pokémon Legends: Arceus, as well as a new update for Pokémon Unite, GO, and other games.

Fans have been eagerly awaiting news about Pokémon's 9th Gen games and characters, but Game Freak and Nintendo have been quiet so far.
